Dear Cafe Xinca Customer,
The 2013 coffee crop was lost due to a fungal outbreak on coffee farms in Guatemala and throughout Central America. Therefore we are not able at this time to continue to provide for sale our high-quality, shade grown, Arabica coffee. We hope that next year we will once again be open for business. Thank you for understanding.
Sincerely,
Anavela Mijangos, President, Cafe Xinca

My Father

My father, Victor Manuel Mijangos Molina, learned the practice of coffee cultivation from his father more than 40 years ago. Throughout the year, he and the family manage his Arabica coffee trees employing traditional sustainable practices which conserve the soil, incorporate song bird-friendly shade trees, and protect the environment. After a hard day of work on the coffee farm, my father enjoys cooking native, Guatemalan dishes which he shares with his workers. For sure, a cup of his high-quality coffee accompanies every meal.
